Write! app: A Review

I was recently granted a copy of Write!, a new semi web based text editor. I promised to give an honest review in exchange for trying the product.

LaTeX and Novel Formatting

Completing a book is the main goal for all authors and writers alike, but that certainly isn’t the end of the hard work, especially if you are an independent author who needs to look at editing, typesetting, cover art, formatting for ebook and print(two very different things), and everyone’s least favorite – advertising. It’s one thing to finish writing a project but as one starts to look at the challenges to put that manuscript in front of your audiences eyes it can become overwhelming. I am writing today to offer some advise on how one can go from manuscript to print read pdf/epub with FREE and opensource tools. Mainly using the framework that is LaTeX.

My First Con!

Stew here, just got back from my first ever Con! It was a great learning experience and although it was a smaller one I’m very happy with the amount of books I sold. Nowhere near making table, but right now exposure is more important than direct sales.

Doodles and fun

As a hobby and as a nice way to relax while watching TV or whatever, and when I am stuck on a particular part of the story I am writing I have found that drawing is a great hobby for me.

It is said that fighting a hruk, is like fighting a mountain. It is simply unthinkable. Hruks are giant, malformed, and most of all love destruction. Their skin is thick like a natural shield, and they love hanging the remains of past conquest around their necks. It was not unusual to smell a Hruk before one became visible. If one were to try and run away from a hruk, they would be quickly swept up, as their stride was twice that of a full grown adult. And above all else, the only word they seemed to communicate with was, “Hruk.”

Introducing I/O – A StarCX Story

The StarCX Saga comprises many different intertwining stories. I/O is a part of the overarching storyline, but in a way to better introduce these characters, I will soon be publishing a light novel that dives deeper into the Trelven side of the world of Aura and the struggles of the two trelves who have been charged with a most serious and difficult quest.
